These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the CivilEdge application, website, and educational services. By accessing or using our platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

1. Account Registration

To access certain features, such as mock tests, reading analytics, and the global leaderboard, you must register for an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to update such information to keep it accurate. You are responsible for safeguarding your password and for all activities that occur under your account.

2. Premium Subscriptions & Payments

CivilEdge offers both Free and Premium ("Scholar") plans. By subscribing to a Premium plan, you agree to pay the applicable fees indicated at the time of purchase.

  • Subscriptions are billed in advance on a recurring basis.
  • If you choose to cancel, your access to Premium features will continue until the end of your current billing cycle.
  • We reserve the right to change our subscription prices at any time, but we will notify you in advance of any changes applying to your account.

3. Intellectual Property Rights

All content on CivilEdge, including but not limited to study materials, MCQs, syllabus breakdowns, graphics, logos, and software code, is the intellectual property of CivilEdge or its licensors. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access the content for personal, non-commercial study purposes. You may not scrape, copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our content without explicit written permission.

4. User Conduct and Fair Play

CivilEdge features a Global Leaderboard and statistical tracking. To maintain a fair environment for all aspirants, you agree NOT to:

  • Use bots, scripts, or automated tools to answer MCQs, artificially inflate reading time, or manipulate study streaks.
  • Share your Premium account credentials with multiple users.
  • Attempt to hack, destabilize, or reverse-engineer the platform's API or cloud functions.

Violation of these rules may result in an immediate, permanent ban from the platform without a refund.

5. Disclaimer of Warranties

CivilEdge is an educational tool designed to assist with exam preparation (such as CSS, PMS, and other competitive exams). However, we do NOT guarantee that using our platform will result in passing any official exam. The materials are provided on an "AS-IS" and "AS-AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including accuracy, reliability, or fitness for a particular purpose.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, CivilEdge and its founders, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or career opportunities, resulting from your use of or inability to use the platform.

7. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will post the revised Terms on this page and update the "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of the platform after changes become effective constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
